Follow the signs for Colonnata. The square is on the left just over 1km from the village, and is marked by a marble block with “Cava Romana” engraving, opposite of abandoned souvenir.

Public transport
Take Line 50, departing from Carrara, at the bus station in Piazza Sacco and Vanzetti, 1 (in front of the Civic Hospital).
Get off at the “Calagio” stop.
